In response to a story on the 1776Coalition website with the title, “Sarah Palin ‘would win hands down,’ if not for the media, her husband Todd says

I had this comment:
Let us hope she decides to run. The real winner will be Saturday Night Live. Even Tina Fey has a more realistic chance of getting elected than Almighty Sarah.

It is hard to get a liberal to see what Obama is up to for they believe every word he says so they can get their handouts.I can not think of any other reason why a person would not do the research and compare Obama to Hitler. The liberal takers are getting theirs for now. I wonder what they will do when the money is no longer there to send the check and they have to work for what they get.
I wrote this:
Hitler, huh? Can you describe any research YOU’VE done to reach a valid comparison between Obama and Hitler?
And could you please name a specific handout or 2 that the “liberal takers” are getting? Are you talking about all those liberals in Texas that got federal drought relief? Or all the liberals in red states like Missouri, Kansas, the Dakotas, etc that got federal flood relief when the Missouri and the Mississippi Rivers flooded? Or all the liberals in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida (oh yes, the bluest of states!) that got federal money to clean up BP’s oil mess? Or all the seniors – Democrats AND Republicans AND Tea Partiers – who get Social Security and Medicare checks. Or all the people out of work – Democrats AND Republicans and, I’m sure, a couple of Tea Partiers – who were collecting unemployment insurance? Or all the wealthy farmers – Republicans, Tea Partiers like Clint Didier included – who are recipients of HUGE handouts in the form of “subsidies”? And oil companies? I wonder if the Koch Brothers have gamed the system to get federal handouts? Wanna make a small bet that they have??
And then let’s not forget all the Republican takers, those that used their political connections to get superrich off the Iraq war. Does anyone remember these Hall of Shamers?: Blackwater, KBR, Halliburton. Oh, and Jack Abramoff, too.

Everyone that knew of Sarah Palin BEFORE 2008 LOVED her, including her Alaskan constituency. The excitement & hope she brought to the McCain campaign was electrifying! Soros nearly $hit his drawers, shortly thereafter over $500 BILLION was stripped out of our banking system & suddenly we had an economic COLLAPSE, RIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION, what a coincidence!
After Soros & the rest of the LEFTIST/DEMOCRAT billionaires club got done manipulating & partially collapsing our banking system, ObaMAO, the leftist propaganda machines Marxist messiah, was ASSURED victory.
Sarah Palin has been painted as a moron, she is a college graduate, REAL college, not ELITIST, LEFTIST brainwashing camp, a mother of 5, was a mayor, a governor & served on the oil & gas conservation commission in Alaska, things a drooling halfwit usually can’t master. As for her foreign affairs knowledge, I can GUARANTEE YOU that if the P O S media had asked Obama ANY GOTCHA questions he would have come across far worse than she did! How many U.S. presidents have been foreign affairs experts? Biden was considered such an expert if that tells you anything. Obama has OFFENDED EVERY ONE of our allies & has made an A S S out of the U.S. all over the world. Thank God we didn’t have that country bumpkin, right?

Let’s try dealing with REALITY a little bit, shall we?
First, your claim that “Everyone … BEFORE 2008 LOVED her…” Yes, she easily won her elections to the Wasila City Council, getting all of 651 (!!!) votes in one election. As the mayor of Wasila, she ran as an incumbent and won 74% of the vote – all 909 of them!!!
But then things got a little more difficult for her. She lost a gubernatorial primary race in 2002. She won the 2006 Republican gubernatorial primary race 51% to 30% for 2nd-place finisher. She got elected to Governor by a 48%-41% margin, getting 114,700 votes. She didn’t get a majority of the votes in that election.
So you can hardly claim that “Everyone LOVED her”.
The next of your “facts” – or did you simply IMPLY? – that George Soros caused the collapse of our banking system, makes my head spin. I live and work very close to the old headquarters for Washington Mutual Bank (WaMu). In my work, I heard many meetings with the CEO and other officers and the employees. Kerry Killinger, the CEO, was lying to his employees and to the public up to the day that Chase bought them out. Lehman Brothers declared bankruptcy and couldn’t get the Bush Administration to bail them out, as they had AIG. Soros had nothing to do with it, at least not by manipulation of the market, as you claim.
As to your claim or implication that Sarah Palin is an intellectual powerhouse – are you referring to these “gotcha” questions”.
“CHARLIE GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of the state give you?
PALIN: They’re our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.
GIBSON: What insight does that give you into what they’re doing in Georgia?
PALIN: Well, I’m giving you that perspective of how small our world is and how important it is that we work with our allies to keep good relation with all of these countries, especially Russia. We will not repeat a Cold War. We must have good relationship with our allies, pressuring, also, helping us to remind Russia that it’s in their benefit, also, a mutually beneficial relationship for us all to be getting along. ”
Then Palin defended her comments on how Alaska’s proximity to Russia enhanced her foreign policy experience in an interviewe with Katie Couric:
“COURIC: You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign-policy experience. What did you mean by that?
PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land — boundary that we have with — Canada. It, it’s funny that a comment like that was — kind of made to cari — I don’t know. You know. Reporters —
COURIC: Mocked?
PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that’s the word, yeah.
COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.
PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our— our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They’re in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia—
COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We— we do— it’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where— where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is— from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to— to our state.
Sorry, but these don’t sound like coherent, thoughtful answers. They sound like the same mumble jumble that we got from W for 8 years.
If you asked me, I’d want the smartest guy or woman in the room to be my leader. Mrs Palin went to school a couple of semesters in Hawaii, and then a community college in North Idaho. Then she won a beauty contest in Wasila (she was Miss Congeniality!!!). Then she went back to school in Moscow, Idaho for a while, went to a small school somewhere in Alaska, and then back to Moscow, ID and graduated from Univ of ID. I’ll take the man or woman out of an “ELITEST” school (did you forget that W went to Yale??) over Mrs Palin’s academic resume anyday.
